The University of Nebraska, Kearney offers two separate degree programs:

  • Major in Exercise Science
  • Comprehensive Major in Exercise Science

The former is designed for students interested in working in the medical field or pursuing graduate education in exercise since. The comprehensive degree is designed for students interested in working in the for-profit fitness industry. Students interested in working as a personal trainer should enroll in the second, comprehensive option.
